Matthew has worked as the Investment Analyst for Steele Wealth Management since 2008. His encyclopedic knowledge of capital markets provides clients with superlative investment recommendations. He is thorough and resourceful in identifying investment opportunities and wealth management strategies. He assists in intensive investment research and strategy, client specific portfolio construction, market research, on-going trading and financial planning functions. Matt uses his analytical skills to assist with the analysis of prospective clients’ investment portfolios to help identify where improvements can be made to better align with their financial objectives. Matt believes that a disciplined investment philosophy with a focus on risk management is an integral component to achieve financial success for clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ®) designation. Matthew is licensed in the United States with FINRA to advise clients on cross-border issues.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys all things hockey, reading, and spending time outdoors with his wife and four children.
